An architect and a contractor going over the floor plan taped to the wall, on site

Every decision recorded. Every approval made clear.

Bēz is for architects, civil engineers and interior designers. Built to give clarity to both parties throughout the entire project.

No more “I didn’t approve that” or “I don’t remember that conversation”. Made for UK practices.

On site

Agreed on site, written on a scrap of paper, or worse… not even recorded.

Sometimes an idea pops into the client’s mind on site. They explain it excitedly, and you are left trying to bring their vision to life. If they forget, or change their mind later, the cost can land on you.

With Bēz, what you agree on site becomes a change the client approves on their phone, there and then, with the date, the time and the exact wording of what was decided.

The sum nobody does

What did last year's unbilled changes cost you?

Not the ones you argued about. The ones you just did, because it was quicker than raising it. Run the numbers with us:

What changes

Five things that cost you money every month

There is never a reason not to have things on record.

  1. You drew it again and never charged for it

You charge for the work you already do

  2. “I never approved this”

    The argument never starts

  3. You have become a debt collector

You stop being the one who asks for the money

  4. Next to a large practice, you look smaller than you are

Your client sees a practice that runs like clockwork

  5. You found out at the end that the project lost money

You see the loss in time to act

From site to handover

Every stage approved, every approval kept.

  2. A bathroom being fitted out, with pale cabinets and a curved vanity still to be cleaned

    RIBA 5 · Fit-out

    Finishes approved · 3 Mar

  3. A hand holding a white furniture leg with a brass foot, in front of a fitted drawer unit

    RIBA 5 · Joinery

    Detail approved · 14 Mar

  4. A finished consulting room, bright, with leather chairs on brass legs by the window

How it works

Approved means approved. And you can prove it.

Three steps, no extra work for your client. Once approved, nobody rewrites it: not the client, not you.

  1. Easy for your client

Fee proposals, contracts, RIBA stages, briefs, budgets, changes and final handover. All in their own portal, on their phone or laptop, in one click.

  2. Bēz keeps the proof

Date, time, the exact content on screen with every file version, and the wording they accepted. The data is always there.

  3. Always clear

Every approval gets a digital seal that anyone can check. If the content changes by any route, the seal flags it at once.

What is included

Questions

Before you start

Who is Bēz for?

Architects, civil engineers and interior designers in the UK who want every client decision on record, from the first proposal to the final handover.

Does my client have to install anything?

No. They get an email invitation and open it in their browser, on their phone or laptop. They only ever see their own projects.

Does an approval in Bēz count as a signature?

It can. Under English law a click counts as a signature when the person means to sign (Law Commission, 2019), and electronic signatures and business records are admissible in evidence (Electronic Communications Act 2000, s.7; Civil Evidence Act 1995). Bēz records exactly what your client saw, the wording they accepted, the time and the device, so that intent is clear. It is not legal advice and does not replace your appointment.

Can a record be changed later?

No, and that is the point. Once an approval is recorded, nobody can change or delete it: not you, not your client. If the content is ever altered, Bēz shows it.

What if my client approves on WhatsApp?

Then there is no record. Send the next approval through the Bēz portal instead: your client sees the material, comments and approves in one place, and it is all on record.

Is it only for design, or for site works too?

Both: every RIBA stage from 0 to 7, site surveys with markers on the plan, progress on site, post-construction documents and the final handover.

Do I have to change the way I work?

No. Start with one project and one thing: send the next approval through the portal instead of by email. The rest of the practice follows in your own time.

How does founder pricing work?

The first 1,000 practices pay half the standard price for as long as they stay subscribed. Pay annually and you get 2 months free on top. See the terms →

What isn’t ready yet?

Card billing opens soon, so nothing is charged today, and anyone who signs up now secures founder pricing. Automatic payment reminders to your clients are built but not switched on yet. Everything else on this page is in the product now.

The architect in the reception of Clínica Ritmo, a project of hers, between cream armchairs and a gold door

What was agreed stays agreed. On both sides.

As an architect for more than 15 years, I have been there many times: a client forgot, in all good faith, what we had agreed on the phone or over WhatsApp, and the next conversation became awkward. In Bēz every decision is recorded and approved by the client. The architect works with certainty, the client knows exactly what they approved, and the process gets lighter.
